Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days of Pro with capped AI (30 coach messages, 10 notebook questions, 5 generations, 3 PDFs). A card is required; nothing is charged before day 8 and you can cancel anytime. Verified students and invited beta testers start without a card.
Can I use CertAscent without an account?
You can browse the whole catalogue — certifications, paths, issuers, official links and free resources — without an account. Planning, tracking, the AI coach and saving need an account with a trial or a plan. A plan you made in this browser is imported when you sign up.
What happens after the trial, or if I cancel?
With a card on file, your plan starts on day 8 unless you cancel; we remind you 2 days before. Without a plan your account becomes read-only: you can view, export and delete everything, and subscribing restores it instantly. Nothing is deleted.
Do you offer student pricing?
Yes — Student is half the price of Pro. Verification is a quick manual request after you sign up, and verified students can start the trial without a card.
